EYMM Fall Blog Tour

Welcome to my blog! If this is your first time, how exciting! If you are returning, welcome back! But either way, today is my day to post on a blog tour for one of my favorite designers and give away aq $20 gift card to EYMM! So a big Autumn smile for the Cozy Up to Fall Tour!!!

EYMM has an amazing pattern selection with an even more amazing size range! So please get over to the website and check it out but today I am showing off my slightly adjusted Piko Top and the Get Moving Leggings! This is not my first pair of leggings from this pattern so if you want to head back and see them check out my previous post but the Piko Top is new to me!

First I had to decide on fabric! I have no clue where this sparkly silver knit came from but it is a thinner sweater knit with amazing drape! But the fun athletic print for my leggings came from Mabel Madison who I love for my knits!

After looking at the tester photos on the website… I do this all the time to see if the fit is one I want to alter or not… I decided to scoop out a little of the sides to add a little shape to my top.  I am still nursing my postpartum belly back to its normal comfortable round shape so I like to narrow my sides to look longer and thinner.  I basically cut my top out at my selected size but narrowed the sides to the size lower.

I cut my leggings at the 7/8 Capri length because as the colder temperatures show their face in Chicagoland I have some knee-high boots I want to pair this outfit with.  But today I am breaking in my booties that I just bought (let me know if you need the shoe information, I am a connoisseur of shoes!) so I can wear them out soon.

So if you made it this far, THANK YOU! And also, some big thanks to the wonderful team at EYMM… they are amazing and talented and my heroes! A huge thank you to my tour mates, they are supportive and talented and keep my ideas churning. And a thank you to my outgoing camera assistant. I hope to make her a version of this same outfit with the corresponding girl’s patterns!

  1. That top looks amazing! Love the fabric! 🙂 I need to make myself another Four Seasons Cardigan this fall as it fits so well. 🙂
